Metropolis in collaboration with the Met Museum’s MetLiveArts presents an evening of freely-improvised and composed elements.
Metropolis Ensemble, Rajna Swaminathan, and composer Matthew Evan Taylor will refract musical principles ranging from Indian classical music to sacred singing and forms found in Judaism and Christianity, filtered through the prism of jazz and new classical, and timed to celebrate the return from Covid-19.
