No Proscenium: A Visit to Cosm with Ricardo Romaneiro
Noah Nelson, host of The No Proscenium podcast, exploring all things immersive tech, talks with composer and electronic artist, Ricardo Romaneiro, about Liquidverse: Microcosm and Macrocosm, his artist project with Cosm Studio, in collaboration with Liquid Light Lab and Metropolis Ensemble, which blends live musical and visual elements with pre-rendered material on the wrap-around LED screens in COSM’s venue.
This interview was recorded at Cosm’s test center at the University of Utah campus where they have developed new immersive projects for the launch of the Hollywood Park experience center in Los Angeles in 2024. Ricardo also discusses the related immersive experiences of previous Metropolis projects, including Biophony: SoundGarden and Brownstone.
